Who

Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus was Roman emperor from 161 to his death in 180. He ruled with Lucius Verus as co-emperor from 161 until Lucius' death in 169. He was the last of the "Five Good Emperors", and is also considered one of the most important Stoic philosophers.

Marcus Aurelius' work Meditations, written in Greek while on campaign between 170 and 180, is still revered as a literary monument to a government of service and duty. It has also been widely quoted in business circles as one of the best sources explaining how to combine fair treatment of others with a solid practical path to accomplishment.

How

"The secret of all victory lies in the organization of the non-obvious" is a quote from Marcus Aurelius that Currents International has adopted as their own, it reminds us at all times that the difference between success and failure is often in the tiniest detail and in understanding the complex but non obvious relationships we have with others in business. We strive to live ethically understanding that those who need to tell you how ethical they are, probably are not.
